Dermal Fillers in South London

Dermal Fillers can be used in many aspects of the facial features, such as: Lips, Cheeks, Nasolabial Folds,  & Marionette Lines.  Please see our specific treatment pages for Tear trough Filler, Non-surgical Rhinoplasty.

As we age, we lose volume in our cheeks and mid face, which cause many changes to the shape and youth of the face.  We start to see sagging and more prominent smile lines, giving less definition to the face in general.  Adding hyaluronic acid dermal filler into these areas, instantly plumps and enhances the cheek size and shape, but can also lift the skin from the jowl area to decrease sagging.

Areas Treated

Our range of anti-ageing injectables treat a variety of conditions, some related to ageing, others related to weight loss, illness or genetics.

Hollow Cheeks Anti Wrinkle Injections

Hollow Cheeks

A loss of volume from the face can be ageing but expert use of dermal filler will change this. At MALA Aesthetics we employ hyaluronic acid-based fillers that are both safe and effective. In just an hour or less sunken cheeks can regain much of their youthful fullness and vigour.

Perioral Lines Anti Wrinkle Injections

Lip Filler

Our registered and insured injectors are on-hand to provide the best lip-service!  There are various lip options for either volume, balance, shape, symmetry and fullness.  This comes with either dermal fillers to produce volume, or toxin to lift and show more of the lip area. You can also combine the 2 for varying effects, but this can be discussed at your consultation.

Nasolabial Folds Anti Wrinkle Injections

Nasolabial Folds

Nasolabial folds are some of the most visible lines on the face. These folds run from the nose to the mouth. As they deepen over time, they can fundamentally alter a person’s appearance, detracting from other attributes like the eyes and smile. They can be minimised by injecting fillers to lift the cheek; at MALA Aesthetics we carry this out to help mitigate the effect of nasolabial folds.

Marionette Lines Anti Wrinkle Injections

Marionette Lines

Whereas nasolabial folds run from the corner of the nose to the corner of the mouth, these are folds that run from the mouth to the chin, which can be reduced by the use of filler. There are many potential reasons why marionette lines develop, but dermal fillers represent a simple, affordable way to treat them.

Jawline & Chin Filler

Popular for both men and women alike, jawline and chin enhancement can make a huge difference to a weak jawline or clefts.  Using either a cannula or direct injections (sometimes a mix of both) you can realign a jaw, square off or harden a soft jawline, soften a masculine jawline, fill a chin cleft or dimples and enhance the chin.  The latter is particularly successful for those with ‘turkey neck’ or a recessed chin.

Glabellar Lines Anti Wrinkle Injections

Deep Forehead Lines

Heavy set frown lines or elevenses as they are known (the deeper 2 vertical lines that can appear in the middle of the brow) can easily be treated with dermal filler rather than botox injections.

Can you correct someone else’s work?

Yes. Our Aesthetic Nurse is well practiced in dissolving non-qualified practitioners work, which will need to be completed prior to her correcting with further filler options.

Does it hurt?

Numbing cream can be added if required, but many clients say that they do feel the immediate prick, but it’s a quick treatment. The dermal fillers also do have anaesthetic in them to ease the discomfort.

How soon will I see the results?

You will see immediate results that will only look better a few days later.

How long do the results last?

12-18 months.

The Nasolabial folds (also knows as smile lines that are the vertical lines that extend from the sides of the nose and curve around to the corner of the mouth) are lines that increase as the natural loss of volume in the cheeks occur. Weight change and other lifestyle factors can also mean a change to the cheeks.

The Marionette Lines are the facial wrinkles that form alongside the mouth and down to the chin, thus forming a ‘string puppet’ like mouth and assisting in the formation of chin and jawline drooping. Dermal Fillers alongside chemical peels can really help in the reduction of these deeper lines. For a more fluid approach to fine lines, we highly recommend our Profhilo skin treatment, which works in a similar way to dermal fillers, except that it’s a more liquid form of filler which helps to remodel from within the skin.

Dermal Fillers Chin

Chin Correction

Chin fillers are popular to enhance a weaker chin, to smooth out lumps and bumps and irregularities such as dimples or overly defined creases. This non-surgical augmentation can be completed in your lunch hour and you would be ready to return to work the same day. An injection of dermal filler will be used directly to the skin to reshape and remodel the chin. This treatment can also be linked to jawline enhancement and marionettes to fuller support the balancing.

Jawline enhancement

We are seeing both Men and Women utilising this fairly new treatment to redefine their jaw. Dermal fillers are utilised in effectively re-sculpting the jawline to increase definition as well as ease the signs of sagging. This treatment is also used to balance out uneven jawlines or those with what is commonly known as turkey neck. When correcting the jowl area, dermal fillers can help restore the lost collagen and elastic in the skin which will give the jawline a tighter more defined look. This treatment is provided either with direct injectables or with our cannula process for no down time.

The Advantages of Dermal Fillers in South London

No need for general anaesthesia: The injection of dermal fillers usually feels like no more than a mild pinch. As such there’s no need for general anaesthesia. You may, however, request a topical numbing cream designed to reduce any minor discomfort.

No lengthy recuperation process: People who have undergone traditional plastic surgery sometimes experience a recuperation period that is long and painful. Not so with dermal fillers. After your treatment at MALA Aesthetics, you can resume your normal daily routine.

Instant results: It might take weeks for the swelling and bruising to subside after plastic surgery. You may not be able to determine if the process was a success or not for a month. With dermal fillers, you will see virtually instant results.

Affordability: Safe and effective dermal fillers in South London cost only a small fraction of what plastic surgery costs. It’s one of their biggest selling points. Plastic surgery will cost you thousands of pounds and still there will be no guarantee you will like the results. And that leads us nicely to our next point:

Impermanence: If, after the bruising and swelling from plastic surgery subsides, you are unsatisfied with the result your only recourse is more surgery. Dermal fillers, however, are slowly absorbed by the body. So, if you’re not thrilled just wait a few months. Things will eventually go back to the way they were. If you are pleased just come back in 6 months or a year to ‘top up’ your dermal fillers in South London.
